Homer Haynes reported from Salt Lake City last Wednesday night. He was accompanied by his brother-in-law, Hyrum McMullen [McMillen]. This is his first trip in and he is quite favorably impressed with this country.

      Utah Digital Newspapers:
2 Jan 1910 - News Advocate - "Mrs. J. S. Varner has received word of the birth of a daughter at the home of her nephew, Homer Haynes, of Sunnyside. The young lady arrived on Monday."

13 Nov 1919 - News Advocate - "Mrs. Homer Haynes gave a party at her home Friday. The evening was spent in games and music. Luncheon was served to the following guests: Mr. & Mrs. Horace Naylor, Mr. & Mrs. James Ungricht, Mr. & Mrs. George Smith, Mr. & Mrs. E H McMillen, Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Christensen, Mr. & Mrs. J S Varner, Mrs. Nettie Knued son, Mrs. R M Galbraith, Mrs. Clara Penlergraft, Miss Lydia McMillen, Mr. Jack Nealey, Mr. ?mil Christensen, Mr. Bert and Homer Haynes. Everyone spent an enjoyable evening."

23 Mar 1934 - Park Record - Chinese Merchant Killed in Crash. Homer, 43 was driving the truck and suffered a fractured right leg and concussion of the brain.
